General Description:
Unicorn Theatre celebrates its 30th anniversary season in 2003/2004. Founded
in 1974, the Unicorn Theatre has built a national reputation with its productions
of more than 215 regional and world premieres of provocative, contemporary plays.
The theatre has been at its present location for seventeen years and was renovated
in 1986, at the time of their move. At that time, they upgraded the facilities
to be as accessible as possible under the circumstances of age and space. The
Unicorn presents live theatre and is assisted by a corps of volunteers, some
of whom have disabilities.
Public Transportation/Directions: The Unicorn Theatre is located on the west side of Main Street, and north of 47th Street which runs through the Country Club Plaza. The city bus line runs regularly along Main Street.

Auxiliary parking, also with handicap spaces, is located in parking lot south of the theatre, entered off of 39th Street to the west of Main Street.
