General Description: The Kemper Museum is a recognizable and growing force in contemporary art. At the core of the Museum’s permanent collection is the Bebe and Crosby Kemper Collection, a gift by the Museum’s founder, R. Crosby Kemper and his wife Bebe Kemper, and the Kemper Foundations. The Kemper Museum’s progressive exhibitions, permanent collection, and innovative educational programs are offered free for all to enjoy.

Public Transportation/Directions: Located one block east of 45th and Main Street

Parking: West and north sides. Additional parking off of Warwick, one-half block north.

Public bus routing: Call the Regional Call Center 816/221-0660. Main Street is on a primary Kansas City public bus route.

WC/MI People using wheelchairs or people with mobility impairments: All Museum entrances are wheelchair accessible. The main entrance (by the large spider) has a driveway for bus loading/unloading or visitors being dropped off. The Museum is one-level with hard surface floors.
